The Beginning Of A Beautiful Marriage

This is the beginning of a beautiful fairytale and great adventure! I still can’t believe it! I married the love of my life and very best friend. Sometimes, Daniel and I will be cuddled up watching a movie, or eating dinner, or just talking with each other about our day and it will hit me; We’re married! I am so blessed! I had lost hope of Daniel and I working out, but it was one of the deepest desires in my heart. God told me He could do it and He did it. It reminds me of the verse in I Samuel, “Now therefore stand and see this great thing, which the Lord will do before your eyes.” Because I know that I could not have done it myself. This was something that only God Himself could orchestrate. I just stood back and watched Him do it. I am confident that God put Daniel and I together and that He restored our relationship for this purpose. Our marriage is and will continue to be such a testimony of God’s faithfulness and love. I cannot wait to see the things He has in store for our future together. It’s only been 3 1/2 weeks, but it gets better and better everyday. Marriage is so much better than I could have ever hoped for. I am so glad that I didn’t settle, but instead, waited on God’s timing and plan. I waited for His best and I know I got just that. Don’t ever give up on the dreams God’s put in your heart. Don’t settle because you’re tired of waiting, or you doubt it will ever happen. God is so faithful and you can see that in my marriage. Two long years went by before God brought Daniel and I back together. We both had opportunities to give up and settle, but we didn’t. We waited and God was faithful. “(as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did; who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.” And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.” – Romans 4:17-21
